John DeVore

When meeting John, don’t be surprised if you’re asked… “How can I help you?”

John’s an easy-going guy, who gives respect to all, and pays attention to details. He’s “all-in” when it comes to business, and his personal life to help others succeed!

As a recruited account executive to Holland Advertising, John brings an impressive resume with a history of professionalism in many areas, including strategic market planning, business development, territory management, training, consulting, copy writing, and public relations, just to mention a few. John is a highly motivated, goal-oriented achiever with a record of accomplishment in building sales, profits, and teams in highly competitive markets. He is a great addition to the Holland team.

It’s the little things in life that drives John. He’s a leader in the advertising industry, and because of his drive to help others… it’s been said he has a calming effect on others. It is probably because of his desire to help where he can, and live life to its fullest.

John refers to he and his wife, Laura, of almost 30 years, as “seasonal empty nesters”. They are embarking on a journey to find their new normal as their two children now spend most of their time away from home. John is so very proud of both of his children. Garrett, a graduate of University of Dayton is starting his new career in Nashville, TN. Samantha followed in her father’s footsteps and is a Bobcat at Ohio University.

John and Laura are enjoying Parents’ weekends, Homecomings, and any good reason to visit the kids out of town. Their rescue dog, Riley is helping too!

As with John’s professional life, and his family, he is fully involved in his community. You can see John at Bastille Day in Montgomery, helping with parish events, supporting Adopt-A-Pet, attending local government meetings, or simply searching for the best place in town to have BBQ.

John is into refurbishing antiques, cooking, photography, reading, cycling, shopping (he is a sharp dressed man), and traveling. When asked where he would go tomorrow if he could go anywhere, he responded with, “Nashville, to see my son”.

John is dedicated to his family, and is an asset to the Holland Advertising Family.
